Pharaohs Hair Designers, in Center Moriches, New York on Long Island was founded in 1995 by Libby Ginocchio and is a full service hair salon specializing in hair replacement.

Libby Ginocchio has been Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches, and a member of the American Hair Loss Council. She is also the spokeswoman for the American Cancer Society and was instrumental in organizing the Look Good – Feel Better™ Program at Southampton Hospital. Mrs. Ginocchio is certified by the American Cancer Society. Her extensive community service also includes membership in the South Fork Breast Coalition.

Mrs. Ginocchio is a Master Specialist in hair replacements, extension specialist, Advanced Integration™ Specialist and she is certified as a medical hair prosthesis design technician.

Douglas Martucci has grown up in the world of hairstyling, since the young age of four he can remember playing with his mothers clippers giving himself what would prove to be the beginning of his true love…  Hair. 

Douglas grew as a young man in the industry challenging the norms and experimenting on any friend that would let him.  At the age of eighteen Douglas moved to beautiful New York City, where he apprenticed Master Hair Stylist John Sahag.  Sahag taught Douglas that hair can be transformed into so many different shapes and movements often by changing what we see.

At the age of 19 Douglas began to educate for Redken 5th Ave, where he continued to perfect his craft under some of the most inspiring artists of our time.  Chris Baran and Kris Sorbie took a personal interest in Douglas and helped him grow beyond what anyone could have expected, teaching him the laws of design and the principles of colour, and he truly thanks them every day for their support and inspiration. 

Douglas then moved back to Long Island where he is still currently the Artistic Director of Pharaohs’s a salon that specializes in hair replacement for women.  He is currently educating nationally for Paul Mitchell, and has had work appear in publications such as Jane, Maxim, and Womens Wear Daily.

Douglas has also been given the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing and talented recording artsts such as Kim Sozzi, and Doreen Younglove .  Douglas has been afforded the amazing opportunity to work with such amazing photographers such as Edward Smith, and BJ Formento.
